SEA-PEOPLES

Those who come from the sea are much more courageous than you and me,
Galleys of fire and cargoes of precious myrrh.

Are you curious of their ways?
Is it even possible to count the days it takes?
Without getting hurt, without getting lost.
Who are we to believe we’d be any different, when all we've known is opulence in gems?

The sound of their drums is approaching fast, hold me now and maybe it'll pass.
I am afraid, I am not brave, I wish I were as strong as the seaside cave.
From which we all come, even the sun.
One day, I hope, we’ll find the Promised Land.

We are nothing but over ambition seeds chasing the sun.
Life will be better once this voyage is done...
